StoragePug is looking for an SEO Content Writer to join our exciting tech startup here in Knoxville, TN. We build high-converting websites to help independent self storage operators compete with national, publicly-traded competitors and provide amazing experiences for their customers.

What’s the day-to-day look like as a Content Writer?
Your day-to-day activities include a lot of writing and creating content for our clients’ websites and for StoragePug’s blog. In terms of knowledge and experience, this role requires an ability to write about a niche market (aka self storage).
The first responsibility of a Content Writer is to execute carefully crafted content strategies that drive results for self storage businesses in their local markets. Our clients are independent storage operators, savvy investors, and management companies - all in the self storage industry.
Alongside our client websites, you will be working on marketing content and resources for the StoragePug blog as we grow our own SEO footprint and educate our clients and the greater community on all things self storage.
A successful SEO (search engine optimization) writer drives organic web traffic from search engines to websites. You will:
- Create digital content for client websites, working directly with Onboarding and Product teams to maximize content placement
- Create digital content for the StoragePug website, working directly with the Marketing team to construct and implement long-term content strategy
- Research local markets and find what customers care about when choosing self storage
- Strengthen SEO content with logical formatting that makes people want to keep reading
- Read up on the latest trends to continuously innovate on the types of content we create

Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and proofreading skills.
