Powderkeg national innovation network, Launch Tennessee, and others such as the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center have released the 2018 Tennessee Tech Census titled Grit and Growth.
According to Powderkeg's website, the Tennessee Tech Census is "The latest insights into Tennessee's startup growth, workforce, fundraising, companies to watch, and uniquely gritty tech culture."

The data initiative, which was launch on August 7th, aims to find out how Tennessee's startup growth compares to national growth numbers, the top three core values of Tennessee's tech community, and why Tennessee creates some of the most significant venture opportunities in the country.
Come of the key findings this year include Tennessee startups are on an impressive growth curve, Tennessee founders are finding capital, and the three core values are Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration.
