Knowing what will draw in customers and set you apart from the competition is important! Price isn't the only factor that encourages a customer to choose to do business with you. Especially when it comes to boat and RV storage, the amenities you offer are vital to selling your service.
In this Gabfocus Spotlight, Toy Nation's Terry Anderson gives us the top three boat and RV storage amenities based on his experience in the industry!

We have a protection plan because I understand, I'm a licensed general PNC in all 50 states, and I know how people do their RV vehicle insurance coverage. A lot of them will drop their comprehensive collision and only have liability. And what happens is that you've got a lot of inexperienced drivers that will knock off each other's mirrors or run into each other.
They run into the posts, they run into the gate, they run into the keypads. And so that's why we built out RV gap coverage. And it could be your number two source of income on your facility. And we have owners that have bundled it in as an amenity rather than just have the tenants pay for it.
So a protection program is what we always encourage first.
And secondly, I think I've seen propane dispensers. I'm not a big fan of the big tanks because it takes that manager out of the office, but I like the little dispensers that I've seen. And Greg, I know, spoke to us about it.
And let me add one more. The children's park and dog park. I know that sounds weird, but, uh—Barry is laughing. You know, these kids will come with the families to check out these RVs, and I don't want them running up and down the driveways. I want them in a park. I want—because that way they don't get hurt, and I want them safe."—Terry Anderson
