Did you know that curb appeal means more than just what people see when they drive by your storage facility?
That's right! Curb appeal can also refer to online curb appeal, or the first thing they see when they find your facility online.
Your GBP and website are both crucial parts of your online curb appeal, in fact.

I want to know that you can... find me. You know that you have found me.
Because in some markets, properties are pretty close. Right? Now in my market, it's obvious, but I want you to find me and know that you have found me. I want you to be able to drive to me. I want you to be able to know what to do when you get there.
And then while you are online looking at me, I want to be sure that it was obvious what to do.
And so if you're wondering, well, how do I make sure that that's in place, you get somebody who doesn't think storage, do storage. For me, it's my better half. I get him to rent a unit like, every now and then. And I just watch over his shoulder, right?
Because I mean, he's in and out of our facility, but he doesn't handle the operations and the rental side. So if I want to see the rental process, I'm going to get Nathan to rent a unit.
You know, maybe you have your mom, and you don't say a word to them. All you can do is look over your shoulder because you want to see where they struggle and what doesn't make sense to them. And so because that is, we say online curb appeal, but it truly feeds into, like we were saying, that curb appeal is how it makes them feel."—Jane Sauls
