Most marketing efforts take quite a bit of time to really build up steam and get off the ground to show results. That doesn't mean there aren't things you can do in the short term to see some pretty quick gains, though!

My first place that I would start is check everywhere that your phone number and your address show up.
Like, start there, right?
Because maybe the phone number is wrong, and you don't need better SEO because you already show up great. But people can't find you. Holy cow. Right? I would start there.
Audit. We talked about audit earlier. So I think that's the first thing. Basic, easy audit. Let's make sure my phone number and address are correct everywhere it shows up.
Number two, if you have the capability to do it, go ahead and turn on the ability to do ecommerce.
Can you accept a rental online and you're just holding out just because you're afraid of all the different things you're afraid of? Fight the fear and turn it on. Because I think you're going to find that the issue isn't more search traffic, more rankings. You already probably find enough customers. They just want to do business with you, but they can't because you're closed on Thursdays, right?
Or whatever the situation is.
And I think, thirdly, if I had one month in literally just 30 days, I would go to business.google.com, and I would fill out every box that it offers me. I would upload 20 photos, I would make sure that my service areas are there. I would do all of those things because that while it's not a paid option and it does take a little bit of time, you will actually start seeing almost instantaneous results within days if you just go fill out all those boxes.
The fact that you're showing up and doing all the right things will naturally get you above the competition just because you've heard it from us to say you should go do those things, right?
So I think, in summary, I would do my audit of just my business information. That NAP, do a quick NAP audit. That's just like point blank. Go do it. Right?
Number two, turn on the ability to do ecommerce online.
And then number three is go to Google business.
If you are in a market that requires it, those pay-to-play options are a great way to just instantaneously turn on the marketing engine by showing up on paid ads or showing up on aggregators such as SpareFoot or Rent Cafe."—Tommy Nguyen
